Gmail Integration

With the Gmail integration, the AI assistant can read, search, and send emails via Google Workspace.

Capabilities

  • Read emails: View recent messages
  • Search emails: Find specific messages
  • Send emails: Compose and send new messages
  • Create drafts: Prepare emails for review

Requirements

  • Google Workspace account (organization)
  • Gmail API access enabled
  • Admin rights for initial connection

Setup

  1. Go to AdminIntegrationsGmail
  2. Click Add Integration
  3. Sign in with your Google Workspace account
  4. Grant the requested permissions
  5. Configure access rights
Sending emails

Sending emails via the AI requires explicit permission. Consider whether you want to grant read-only or also write permissions.

Privacy and Security

  • Email content is only processed when necessary
  • Sensitive labels can be excluded
  • All actions are logged
  • GDPR-compliant use of email data
