Enabling Tools
Administrators can enable or disable tools via:
- Go to Admin → Settings
- Select Tools
- Enable or disable the desired tools
Only enable the tools your organization actually needs. Some tools incur additional costs per use.
Using Tools
When a tool is enabled, the AI can automatically use it when relevant. You can also explicitly request a tool:
- "Search online for the latest changes in social welfare legislation"
- "Create a visualization of demographic development in our municipality"
- "Calculate the travel time to the nearest public facilities"
You can also start a tool directly from the home screen. AI-Public then opens a new chat with that tool active. Many tools already place an example prompt in the input field, so you only need to fill in the missing details. For Weather Lookup, for example, you fill in the location. For AI Content Detection, the check question is ready and you paste the text to check under the Text: heading.
The start text and example prompt follow your account language setting.
