OpenAI Web Search

OpenAI Web Search is an integrated search function available when using GPT models. Instead of calling a separate tool, search is directly integrated into the model.

How It Works​

When you use a GPT model (such as GPT-4o or GPT-5), the model can automatically search the web when current information is needed. This happens seamlessly during the conversation.

This tool is automatically available when you select GPT models with search functionality. No separate configuration needed.
